We recently completed our one year grant from The Habitats Trust for coral transplantation and installation of permanent mooring buoys at the islands off Goa airport. 4 beds totaling 192 fragments of Turbinaria, Mesentaria and Favia species were transplanted. These will continue to be monitored and taken care of for several years to come before we replant them on carefully chosen permanent location on the reef.
